Beginner Camp
Beginner camp is designed to be an introduction to horses for beginner riders that are not currently taking regular lessons, or for the rider that has been riding for less that 1 year. Campers will learn the basic skills necessary to care for their own horse, including grooming, tacking up, parts of the horse and saddles, tack care, and basic first aid. They will have 2 lessons a day, and do “horsey” crafts. Campers may use one of Double H Farm’s school horses, or bring one of their own. (Ages 5 and up) Camps are from 8-3 daily and are $325 per person. |

Little Tykes
A condensed version of Beginner camp geared towards smaller children. Special age appropriate activities will be done with the smaller rider in mind. We will give more assistance grooming, tacking, and all lessons are private. (Ages 4-8) Camp is from 8-11 daily and are $175 per person. |

Eventing Camp
4-Her’s and Pony clubbers Welcome!! Eventing camp is designed for riders that have ridden for more that 1 year and are able to ride in an open field safely. Campers need to be able to tack up their own horse and be able to ride 2 to 3 times a day. After reviewing the material taught in Beginner sessions, campers will learn about vaccinations, deworming, lunging, basic farrier science, and common diseases. We will focus on dressage and jumping gymnastics, courses, and cross country based on the rider’s level, 12”-2’6”. Campers are encouraged to bring their own horse, but it is not necessary to participate in the camp. School horses will be available. (Ages 7 and up) Camp is from 8-3 daily, $350 per person. (Includes stabling and turnout for your horse) |

Dressage Camp
Dressage camp is for those aspiring to have or have already started their dressage career. For Training Level to Third level riders who wish to learn more about history, dressage theory, arena figures, and movements. Nutrition, supplementation, and fitness of the dressage horse will be discussed in length. Campers will work on their position with daily lunge line lessons, and the training of their horse with USDF Associate Instructor and special guest instructors. A limited number of Double H Farm horses will be available for lease if needed. Camp is from 8-5 daily, $350 per person. (Includes stabling and turnout for your horse) |
